Teachers around the country are using Starfall to inspire a love of reading and
writing and make the classroom more fun. Primarily designed for first
grade, Starfall.com is also useful for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and second
grade.
Educational Java Programs This is a very informative (but at times challenging) math site. Topics germane to our children would be money, time, pattern blocks, base 10 and fractions. Also, have some fun playing the Oddball Mathematics Game to see who can figure out the winning strategy first!
Storyline Online A fun listening site presented by the Screen Actors Guild. Celebrities read a piece of literature while you watch the illustrations on the screen. Kind of like an online Read Aloud!
Rebus Rhymes Another wonderful site from the folks at Enchanted Learning. This site includes many of the Mother Goose rhymes we enjoy throughout the year. Another fun way to practice reading skills.
